This Privacy Policy explains how Deal Calculator (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information. Deal Calculator is developed by Moin Patel.

We designed the app to work without accounts and without collecting personal information. Your calculations never leave your device.

Information we do not collect

Deal Calculator does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or any other personal identifier.

Information stored on your device

The app saves the following locally on your device so it can remember your setup between sessions:

This data is stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. We cannot see it, and it is never transmitted to us. Deleting the app removes it permanently.

Advertising

The free version of Deal Calculator displays banner ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process certain information, including advertising identifiers, IP address, device type and operating system, and general interaction data such as ad views and taps.

We do not receive this data ourselves and we never sell it.

Consent and your choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form (via Google’s User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested. You choose whether to allow personalised ads.

You can change your choice at any time using the Privacy options link shown beneath the ad banner in the app.

If you do not consent to personalised ads, you will either see non-personalised ads or no ads at all. Non-personalised ads are based only on general context, not on a profile of your interests.

Purchasing Pro removes all advertising from the app.

Purchases

Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. Payment is processed by Apple; we never see or receive your payment details.

We use RevenueCat to verify and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and your purchase receipt so that your unlock can be restored if you reinstall the app or move to a new device. This identifier is not linked to your name or email.

Children

Deal Calculator is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or erase. To remove everything the app has stored, delete the app from your device.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a US state with applicable privacy laws, you retain your rights under those laws in relation to data processed by Google or RevenueCat. Please refer to their policies linked above, or contact us and we will help where we can.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
